Undertone is currently looking for a VP of Engineering reporting to our CTO. This role can be based in NY or San Francisco and will have the opportunity to build a team as well as develop our proprietary technology.

Director of Ad Operations

The Director of Ad Operations is responsible for the overall results of our Operations team including achieving full delivery of our advertiser’s campaigns while exceeding their performance objectives.  In addition, you will focus on analytics, statistical modeling and forecasting. This position will encompass managing a team of 8+ (and growing), coordinating their efforts on a tactical level, while having a high-impact role within our organization.

• 5-8 years of digital ad operations experience

• 3+ years of experience managing a digital operations team of 7-10 people

• Strong analytical skills for campaign analysis and optimization

• Experience with ad server technologies and campaign management platforms

• Incredible attention to detail

• Exceptional Excel skills

• HTML, Javascript, Flash and CSS proficiency

• Excellent communication skills

• Well organized

• Bachelor’s degree

Online Ad Operations – Team Lead:
The Team Lead is responsible for the overseeing the daily workflow of 2-3 Campaign Managers and is ultimately responsible for achieving full delivery of advertiser’s campaigns while meeting or exceeding their expectations. You will also work closely with sales and media buying teams to optimize the flow of inventory. This is a high-visibility and high-impact role within our organization.

Responsibilities include:
• Manage workflow of a team that is responsible for successfully launching advertising campaigns across our ad network
• Investigate and resolve delivery/performance issues and advise management on revenue risk
• Work closely with our third-party ad serving company for campaign set up and management
• Work internally and externally to resolve clients’ escalated technical issues
• Review and provide feedback on new processes, product, and tool releases that will improve operational efficiencies

• 5+ years media experience
• 3+ years online ad operations experience
• 1+ years of experience managing in online ad operations
• Incredible attention to detail and follow through
• Working knowledge of Excel
• Excellent communication, organization, analytical and client-facing skills required
• Proven ability to: multitask, work under pressure, understand customer needs, build relationships
• Passion for online media, service, and business results
• Bachelor’s degree
