Here at Google, losing someone to Groupon isn’t a shocker. I was, pleasantly, surprised to see that old HR Clicker Brian Schipper is now at Groupon too! Heading up their HR. Pre-IPO, not a bad time to jump on board

The folks over at AppNexus, including, but not limited to (I know I’m overlooking someone) Ari & Mike Rubenstein just added another heavy hitter: Matt Haies. The former DoubleClick counsel is now GC over there, a great hire for them and a great opportunity for Matt. Matt’s wife, Jen Ladenburger, is still prospering at Google

My former HR Partner, Cathy Hawley, has been at ReturnPath for years.. a few months back, long-time clicker, Jane Ritter, joined ReturnPath too.. I’ve known about this, but hadn’t posted, mostly since I don’t have a real system and just post shit. And Ken Takahashi has also been there for a long time.
Also, Naomi Kagan (I forgot who told me this) finally got wise and departed Atlas/Microsoft and is now at start-up Mixpo.
Lastly, the poor folks at Epsilon – and there are many – have been having an un-fun April, dealing with the barrage of press surrounding their unauthorized system access.. I know I’ve gotten emails from 10+ companies alerting me about the incident.

Joe Pedro, old-school Clicker, joined AdMeld too! I can’t believe I sifted that one out from my endless emails. Although the title makes me curious:
Joe Pedro, 40, joined as director of quality of service, a newly created position. He had been director of ad operations at Peer 39.
Director of Quality of Service? I don’t recall Joe ever working for Mehdi
