News.. what there is
Feb 11, 2012 clicker updates
As has been the consistent trend for some time now, ex-Clickers end up at direct competitors, trying to be the foil to the GOOG and the remnants of DoubleClick. Most recently, Eric Rosenthal ended up as GM over at OpenX. OpenX is boasting about 1 trillion requests, in all 2011. I can’t disclose what the DFP/DFA stack is doing, but let’s just say, they have some room to grow to catch up.
Also, MongoDB continues to make news with tying SQL to Google’s own mapreduce. Mapreduce and Hadoop are now full-blown businesses, good to see MangoDB tying things together.

a trillion request in 2011… dude that’s what we did in 2004! 8 years later i can only speculate that the trillion is achieved in a matter of days now!
not even mentioning performance, availability and malware…. they have such a long way to go!
