As I mentioned a while back, Permuto is down the road from me and headed up by Navdeep – a name recognized by many.  A headhunter pinged me today for some roles they are hiring for.. not a fit for me 😉  but I said I’d post it here.. feels like the right thing to do.


Director E. Coast Sales (player/coach role) and a Reg Sales Mgr (individual contributor role) – both in NYC – for Permuto (www.permuto.com) – a hot new early-stage company focused on developing a next generation online advertising platform focused on the $205B+ online e-commerce shopping market.

Permuto launched in Sept, 2009 and is lead by an experienced world-class management team formerly from Yahoo!, Doubleclick, Oracle, and Microsoft, who have helped build a fast growing, entrepreneurial organization that prides itself on innovation, intelligence, and world-class technology. Permuto has developed a proprietary method to accurately track and determine an online consumer’s shopping in-market score for millions of products, utilizing a vast network of data partners. Their “PartnerConnect” enables data partners to extract value from their data as well as tap into the power of the their network to power personalization, targeting, and other data driven applications. Permuto’s Best Offer shopping ad network delivers highly relevant micro-targeted product display ads driven by a consumers shopping in market score. The creation of this Best Offer network provides merchants and manufacturers a new channel to tap into the 80%+ reach of online display advertising greatly enhanced conversions.

Permuto has also developed an online shopping data co-op for online merchants and retailers to go after the vast market of online shoppers who have never even visited their site. Due to growth, Permuto is looking for both an E. Coast Dir Sales and a Reg Sales Mgr (who will report to the Director) in NYC to drive the sale of their ecommerce/retargeting and co-op solutions to the top 500 internet retailers nationwide (and through agencies). This performance-based online advertising company is looking for smart, hungry, driven, ambitious, independent salespeople with a passion for success. Comp. up to $175K base (depending upon experience) + lucrative commission structure + equity. MUST HAVES:

– 5+ years online media sales experience (online display adverting, behavioral targeting, retargeting, SEM, performance based marketing, ad network, etc), with particular focus selling to online retailers

– Passionate about selling and creating value for customers, and a deep understanding of marketing demographics, media buying, and client ROI

– Strong NYC agency contacts

– Hungry, driven, true HUNTER (no fear of cold calling), self-motivated, smart, independent, aggressive, high energy, go-getter, results-oriented, and able to handle the pace of a high-growth startup
