Position Description

Everyday Health Inc. has successfully evolved its business model into an online media company, servicing hundreds of advertisers across billions of monthly ad impressions.  The Vice President of Sales Operations is responsible for the monetization of the advertising inventory and maximizing its yield through management of the inventory, pricing, packaging, trafficking, and remnant sales teams across the network.  This critical role requires a robust understanding of the online media market, strong analytics, a client orientation, and an ability to lead and motivate multiple operations teams.

The Vice President of Sales Operations reports to the Executive Vice President of Marketing & Operations.


  • Establish inventory allocation, pricing, and media proposal guidelines based on available inventory and anticipated advertiser demand.
  • Coordinate ad tagging strategy to maximize campaign delivery and inventory value.
  • Ensure accurate ad operations’ trafficking and optimization of 200+ active advertiser campaigns.
  • Manage advertising analytics and reporting group responsible for revenue forecasting, delivery reporting, yield optimization analyses, and billing reconciliation.
  • Cultivate robust remnant and house ad program to maximize value of unsold inventory.
  • Work collaboratively with sales, marketing, and technology teams to achieve goals of the sales operations division.


  • Minimum 10yrs. management experience.
  • Experience managing online media network operations.
  • Excellent skills in internal management of senior employees and cross functional teams.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with external agencies and vendors.
  • High analytical orientation.
  • Polished verbal and written communication skills, with both internal colleagues and external clients.
  • Knowledge of Dart, DSM, and Sales Force a plus.
