A deal is done..

In, probably the most exciting day while I’ve been at DoubleClick, the deal was finally final.  I love the Marketwatch headline.  Good for Google for seeing the value and  for ensuring that “noone else” gets their hands on DoubleClick.

Since I don’t know all that much, I listened to the analyst call and first heard it officially in a NY Times article.  They must have caught wind, because the press release hadn’t been issued yet.

It was real nice, I got emails and IMs  from lots of former Clickers: Eric John, Kurt Spoerer, Kate Carman, Eric Kirby, even the grumpy Eric Kirtcheff
