Andrew La Valle? LaValle?

I was reading yesterdays wall street journal and came across this article by Andrew LaValle, I’m not sure it’s the one who used to work at DoubleClick, but it could be…

Is there an Irishman in the house? (hint: no)

No, sorry, not more on Donal.  This time, David Frankland will be leaving the nest, headed to Forrester to decorate their conference rooms and more!  I thought after Dave got stuck with Epsilon, he’d never want to leave DoubleClick again, but this is a good opportunity for the lad, good luck!

Other defections, Adam Weingarten (SF, AM) recently left for <something>media.  rightmedia? smartmedia? mediamedia?

There’s a fun contest going on and people are posting all sorts of pictures from DoubleClick’s history, I’ll try and get permission to post them

Also, I hit my 5-year anniversary in July, and while I don’t get a sabbtical, I do still get a gift from Tiffany’s.  I’m going for the moneyclip.

A promo!

LAURA BURKHART SEBEKOS has been promoted from director partner management to vice president, partnership management at Jumpstart Automotive Media.  I just saw Laura a few months back on an SF trip, congrats Laura!

Is there an Evil Doctor in the house?

I was in Dublin last week and had the pleasure of enjoying a few pints with Donal Kane (EvilDoctorK) at a local pub.  He now lives in London and works for Mediaplex, but was in Dublin for some personal business.  I’m glad he came out and it was good to see the guy!  (that’s jorge on the right, he still works here

Someone who knows a little about training

I got LinkedIn and starting swapping some emails with former peer Phil Hamel.  He was nice enough to give me a blog posting

Update from TD, back stateside and recoop’ing

Tom D is back in the US, rehabbing from his Iraq injuries.  I posted his recent update here..

time to “turn” it on..

ex-clickers Jason Washing and Robert Jackson now work at Turn.com, which is going live shortly with their CPA network, on steroids, if you will.  Techcrunch, a site I like, did a nice write-up on them.
