I mentioned I saw Christina Kerwick, but also her husband, Stephen Kerwick, an ex-clicker, works for BitPass, their CEO is some guy named Doug Knopper    Also, in SF, I ran into Don Norton, who had left, but just returned and is relocating to SF to head up new business – awesome!

A McKenna sighting

I’m in the SF office, and not only did I get to see Laura Burkhart and Christina Kerwick, I got the press release that Damian McKennas a new gig, “VerticalResponse Appoints Damian McKenna as Vice President, Sales & Marketing

A sad streak continues (James Diver)

I can’t believe I’m posting 2 of these ever, forget in a single one week span.  Sadly, James Diver lost his fight with cancer and passed away on Saturday, August 18.  James was one of the best CIT guys the team ever enjoyed.  He started in NY, left for a brief stint to a law firm to make sure the outside world couldn’t offer more, and was welcomed back with open arms.  James relocated to Colorado in 2004/2005, and when he walked through my office doors, it was like reuniting with an old friend.  James was great to work with, friendly, and embodying a quality CIT-rep needs – patient and helpful.  I will post more info about donations or any other memorials.. for now, all I know is viewings:

The viewings are on Sunday and Monday (8/20-21), from 4:00 – 8:00 each day at

Crist Mortuary

3395 Penrose Place

Boulder, CO 80301

A sad sad update

In the saddest blog update to date, DoubleClick has its first alumni eternal.. Mike Simanoff, a DFA TAM from the Chicago office, recently passed away.  All who knew Mike and those who didnt are saddened by this tragic loss.  I started yet another blog, just someplace to capture it all..

Need to earn some easy money!?

DoubleClick needs good people — know any?

More news (and pics!) from the front

An actual powerpoint from Tom D, over in Iraq, and the best part is that there is nothing for sale

Another Thornton staff member – located! and James Diver updated..

After a long time, I got linked in with Chris Koss today.  He’s in the bay area and looking for work.. with the job market as it is, he’s looking at a few cool roles, I’ll post where he lands when that’s final.

On the James front, he’s still in and out of the hospital and suffering from nausea.  I’m trying to get more info and perhaps someplace where we can send well wishes, etc.
